CTE Programs

According to the Association for Career & Technical Education, today’s cutting-edge, rigorous and relevant career and technical education (CTE) classes prepare youth and adults for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers.

At Peterson Academic Center, we are looking to provide our students with the knowledge and skills to enable our students to successfully enter the workforce. We are developing several CTE programs to help our students achieve a higher level of success and path for their future.

The Association of Career & Technical Education also reports:
81% of dropouts say relevant, real-world learning opportunities would have kept them in high school. The average high school graduation rate for students concentrating in CTE programs is 95%, compared to an average national freshman graduation rate of 88%.

In a partnership with Hospitality International Training Program and numerous industry partners, Peterson Academic Center will be starting an Automotive, Culinary, and Certified Nursing Assistant Career & Technical Education Program during the 2020-21 school year.
